| Le premier magasin / The first store |
En 1898-1900, Alexis Sylvestre profite de ses voyages à Reston pour rapporter des provisions nécessaires par courrier telles que du sucre et de la farine. Ce sont des produits qu'il revend dans le premier magasin de la région. Ce magasin servait aux familles de St Maurice et de St Antoine de Storthoaks.
| From 1898-1900, while in Reston for the mail, Alexis Sylvestre also picked up basic provisions such as sugar and flour, which he sold in the first store to the settlers of St Maurice and Ste Antoine de Storthoaks.

1900-1923
Arsène Revet commence un magasin dans la maison de sa mère Franceline, qu'elle gère pendant la première guerre mondiale.
1923-1928
Henri George achète le magasin et le gère pendant environ 5 ans.
1928-1957
Alphonse Sylvestre achète le magasin et le bureau de poste. Il ouvre aussi une salle de billard et un salon de coiffure.
1940-1962
André et Marie Sylvestre achétent le magasin d'Alphonse Sylvestre et le poste d'essence.
1949-1954
Jean et Albine Perreaux achètent le contenu du magasin. Ils ajoutent des tables de billard et un dépanneur.

Henri George bought the store and ran it for about 5 years.
1928-1937
Alphonse Sylvestre bought the store and the post office. He also operated a pool hall and barber shop.
1937-1957
Jean George bought the stores contents and opened a new store out of his fathers home. He operated it until its closing in 1957.
1940-1962
André and Marie Sylvestre bought the sotre from Alphonse Syvestre , the post office and the gas station.
1949-1954
Jean and Albine Perreaux bought the contents of the store. They added pool tables and a convivence store.

En 1952, Gabriel et Léa Sylvestre ouvrent un magasin. Ils ferment les portes vers la fin des années 1950s.

1946-1949
Paul et Madeline George construisent et ouvrent un magasin avec une boucherie.
1949
Joe et Marie Blézy gèrent leur magasin et ajoutent un resturant et dépanneur.
1967-1978
Co-op achète le contenu du magasin. En 1967, il déménage un bâtiment de Frys. Il vend des produits de construction et s'agrandit avec l'ajout de l'essence et de l'huile. Un nouveau agrandissement se fait par Alphonse Aimé. Co-op et la caisse populaire partagent ce bâtiment.
1954
Le procès-verbal de la paroisse passe une motion de vendre l'établissement à Co-op pour 700$. Celui-ci est transformé en hangar pour le bois de construction et est déménagé à la nouvelle endroit.
1978-1982
Ivan et Adèle Cop achètent le magasin et ouvrent Cop's Lucky Dollar Store et essence Texaco en 1978. Ils déménagent le magasin à Redvers en mai 1982.

1967-1978
Co-op bought the contents and moved in a building from Frys in 1967. At first, the store sold lumber, but they expanded to fuel and oils later on as well. An additon was added by Alphonse Aimé. They operated both the Co-op and the Credit Union out of this building.
1954
July 26th 1954, the parish mentions selling the stables to Co-op for $700.00. This barn was moved to the new location and used as a lumber shed.
1978-1982
Ivan and Adèle Cop opened Cop's Lucky Dollar Store and Texaco gas in 1978. They moved the buisness to Redvers in May of 1982.

Pendant deux mois en 2002, Lindsay George, Chantal Bauche et Bonita Wolensky ouvrent le Bistro Belge. Ce projet à été réalisé dans le cadre d'un cours d'entrepreneurait qu'elles ont suivient en 2001. Elles servaient du café et des desserts dans une atmosphère chaleureuse et tranquille. Beaucoup d'emphase a été mise sur la culture Belge.
Après la fermeture du bistro, l'ACFB a esssayé de le rouvrir sans succès. Par contre, la cuisine a servi la communauté durant des activités communautaire jusqu'en 2016.
| For two months in 2002, three students: Lindsay George, Chantal Bauche et Bonita Wolensky opened Le Bistro Belge as part of a school project in Buisness Adminstration. They served coffe and deserts in a welcoming, quaint Belgium atomsphere.
The French Culture Center for Bellegarde tried to reopen the Bistro afterward without success. Howerver, the kitchen was used to host the French Community gatherings until 2016.
